Creating Dollar Only Invoices
Agencies can create Dollar Only POs to purchase services, where quantity and unit price are not applicable. This type of order lists the total price of the line item, but no quantity or unit price. The unit of measure is specific to a dollar only service.
To create an invoice:
- Click the Orders tab.
- From the left sidebar, click Open POs. Alternatively, use Quick Search or Advanced Search to locate a Dollar Only order.
- Click Create Invoice on the purchase order to open a new invoice page. When IPP converts the PO to an invoice, IPP displays the Unit Price as $1.00. The QTY is equal to the Extended Price.
- Select the line item(s) you want to invoice.
- To invoice the line item for a different quantity than shown, enter a value in the QTY field. IPP updates the Extended Price field by multiplying the Unit Price ($1.00) by the quantity entered. The quantity cannot be greater than the Total Price for the Dollar Only line on the PO. The quantity entered must not exceed two decimal points.
- Click Submit.
