Setting Up eFile for the Collector Module

The following table details the process for setting up eFile for the Collector Module.

Collector

Gather Customer IDs to associate to IPP agencies from your ERP system and enter them into the IPP system. In IPP, map your Customer IDs to ALCs (Agency Location Codes).

Collector, IPP eFile Team

Provide the IPP eFile Team with a .xml test file (see eFile Template for the template format). The IPP eFile Team uploads the test file and confirms the results. If you plan to send Non-PO invoices, notify the IPP eFile Team, so that they can map your Units of Measure (UOM) value to the corresponding IPP system values.

Collector

If you want to include attachments with your eFiles, a compressed file is required. In addition, a Collector Administrator must set compressed file parameters.

If your company plans to add attachments after eFiles upload, a Collector Administrator must set an Invoice Submission Delay. Otherwise, the agency receives the invoices without attachments.

4.

Collector and Disburser

For the first two attempts at uploading eFiles, communicate about upload of eFile invoices, so that receipt can be confirmed.
