IPP provides Disburser Administrators and Disburser users with access to multiple agency accounts; an interface with multiple account selections associated to a single IBM Security Identity Management (ISIM) User ID and password. While a Disburser user logs into one account at a time, functionality is provided to give the Disburser user access to their other accounts in a single user-session. Thus, the Disbursers users with multiple accounts can log in once to the Disburser module and access each of their accounts.
When a Disburser Administrator adds a new Disburser user to the administrator's account, IPP recognizes the User ID and email address, and matches the new account to the Disburser user's current account access.
A Disburser user with access to multiple Disburser accounts will require a new ISIM/Fiscal Service e-mail address with a single User ID. IPP does not require a unique e-mail address for each account but does require each Disburser user to have a unique e-mail address.
The Disburser user with multiple agency accounts logs into the Disburser module. IPP displays the Disburser Agency Selection page with links to the agencies the user is associated with. The Disburser user selects an account and IPP opens the Disburser Welcome page for that account.
The Disburser module has an Account Selection list box at the top of every page. When the Disburser user completes activities for one agency, the Disburser user selects another agency from the Account Selection list box and advances to the Welcome page of the new agency without logging out of the Disburser module.
If the Disburser user is also a Disburser Administrator, the Disburser user can select either the Disburser Administration module or the Disburser module to view. However, a Disburser Administrator can be an administrator to only one account whereas a Disburser user can have access to many accounts.
Note: If the Disburser user has only one account, IPP opens the Welcome page for that account and there is no account selection box.
