Finding Payments with Advanced Search

You can locate payments using the Advanced Search option.

Permissions

Payment-related links and data are only visible if you have the View Payments permission assigned to one of your roles. Due to the sensitive nature of tax-related payment data, to view details about Treasury offsets for a reduced payment, you must have the Treasury Offset Details role (which includes the View Payments permission). Contact your IPP Collector Administrator if you need additional roles or permissions.

To find payments:

  1. From the upper right of the Collector module page, click Advanced Search. The Advanced Search window opens.
  2. For Document type, select Payment.
  3. Select the Payment Type or select All.
  4. Select a TIN or select All.  
  5. Select an agency from the Agency list or select All.
  6. Select the payer from the Payer Name list or select All.
  7. Enter the dates for the payments in the From and To fields. The time frame must be limited to one year or less.
  8. Select a status from the Status list or All.
  9. Enter an Invoice Number.
  10. Click OK to activate the search; otherwise; click Cancel.
