Updating User Information
The User Information page displays information about the Collector user. From this page, you can update your secondary authentication questions and reset your password.
To change user information:
- Click the Preferences link on the top of the Collector module. The Preferences page appears.
- Click User Information. The User Information page displays your name, email address, and phone number.
- Do the following to update your user information:

- Name fields are read-only. Contact IPP Customer Support to update these fields.
- Enter the Email Address (Required) field. Enter only one email address. The email address must be unique within this Collector account.
- Enter the Phone Number in the field.
- Click OK to save the information, or click Cancel to close the screen without saving the information.
To change your secondary authentication questions:
- Click the Preferences link on the top of the Collector module. The Preferences page appears.
- Click User Information. The User Information page appears.
- Click the Update Sec Auth Questions. The Answer Secondary Authentication Questions page appears.
- Do the following to update your questions:

- Enter or update the information for three (3) questions. Do not answer more than or less than 3 questions.
- In the Shared Secret box, enter text to represent a secret you can later share with a CSR, if you need one to help you reset our password. Enter at least 8 characters.
Use only alphanumeric characters for answers to secondary authentication questions and shared secret. Do not use special characters; however, you can use a space to separate the text in your answers. For example, you can type “city hospital”. Answers are not case sensitive.
- Click Submit.
To reset your password:
- Click the Preferences link on the top of the Collector module. The Preferences page appears.
- Click User Information. The User Information page appears.
- Click the Reset Password. The Password Reset page appears.
- Do the following to reset your password:

- In the Current Password box, type your current password.
- In the New Password box, type your new password using the information in the Password Policy.
- In the Confirm New Password box, retype your password.
- Click Reset. IPP sends an email confirming your password reset.
- From the Collector link in the email, log into the Collector module to validate your new password.
