The Manage Tasks page displays individual tasks. If you have been assigned Task Management permission, you can create, assign, or reassign any existing task. You can use a basic search as well as a detail search to look for tasks.
Note: A user task can be assigned only to another user, and a group task to another group. Also, a user that belongs to a group can reassign their responsibility to another user in that group.
Additionally, only tasks of the same type (user or group) can be reassigned at the same time. Reassignment does not check against any existing task delegations. You can reassign a task to a user or group that has a valid task delegation. The list of Disburser users that display when you search for a user to reassign a task is filtered by the Disburser users' ALCs, View permission, and their Group(s) based on Business Unit, Cost Center, or Department ID with which the Disburser users and you are associated.
The search function supports two search types:
Basic
Detail
To use the Basic Search to locate tasks:
From the Tasks tab, click Manage Tasks.
Enter a value on which to search in the

. IPP displays the following:Task Owner -- The user with that task permission.
Invoice # -- The invoice assigned to that user.
Type -- The type of task, such as: Approval, Edit, etc. (Manual Route is not used)
Date Sent -- The date the invoices were sent.
Due Date -- The date the invoices are due.
Amount -- The amount on the invoice that requires payment.
Discount Available -- The discount is available to be taken, if the invoice is paid in accordance with the terms.
Select a task to reassign.
Click
to reassign a group or user task.The detail search uses the entered criteria to narrow down the search.
To use the detail search:
In the
field, enter part of a user or group name and add a wild card such as %.Select an
from the list.Type the invoice number or part of a number with a wild card in the
field.Select a task type from the
list.Enter the date range during which the invoices were sent in the
fields.Enter the date range for when the invoices are due in the
fields.Click
.To reassign a group task:
Complete the steps for Basic Search or Detail Search. IPP displays a list of tasks.
Select the checkbox next to the task you want to reassign.
Click Reassign. IPP displays the Lookup Users page.
Search for the group or user to which you want to assign the task. IPP displays only users in your group, unless you are assigned to an invoice by Workflow.
Select the group or user and click
to continue. IPP displays the new group or taks owner on the Confirm Reassignment page.Click
to proceed, or to exit.To see the results of the reassignment:
Search for the task by the new group name.
The Task Detail page displays
next to the group name. Also, is displayed on the Routing History page.
