Tasks Summary

Use the Tasks Summary page to view the tasks assigned to you, to you and your user group, or just the user group.

Important: The My Tasks Summary table is independent of the My Queue Summary table.

The Summary page has the following areas.

My Tasks Summary

The Tasks Summary section lists all tasks that are assigned to you or your workgroups. These categories are exclusive, meaning that tasks assigned to you do not appear in the tasks assigned to the workgroup. If there are no tasks assigned to you or your workgroups, the listing is empty. Click the My Tasks page for tasks assigned to the Disburser user by a Task Administrator.

To Both Me and My Groups

Click to view the tasks assigned to you and your groups on the My Tasks Page.

When an invoice/credit memo task is assigned to a Parallel Group with one task level, all members assigned to the group must perform an action on the invoice/credit memo before IPP can place the invoice/credit memo  in a Scheduled to Pay status.

If there are multiple task levels, all members assigned to a Parallel Group must approve the invoice/credit memo before it can go on to the next level. However, only one member of the group is needed to reject an invoice/credit memo even if others have approved it. The Disburser user that rejects the invoice/credit memo requires a role with Reject permission or Reject override within the Workflow configuration. Once an invoice/credit memo is rejected, IPP returns it to the vendor.

If an invoice/credit memo is escalated and the Escalation level is not parallel, only one person (the Disburser user the invoice/credit memo was escalated to) has to approve, reject, return to previous level, or reassign the invoice/credit memo.

My Queue Summary

The My Queue Summary section displays assigned and unassigned tasks for the queues you belong to.

Assigned

Displays number of tasks assigned to you from the queue you belong to. If the Disburser user is a member of a queue, IPP displays the open tasks the Disburser user requested from the queue. IPP also displays tasks that were reassigned from the Manage Queue page by a Queue Administrator.

Unassigned

Displays the number of tasks still to be assigned from the queue. Includes tasks that are assigned to a queue but not yet assigned to a Disburser user within the queue. When the Disburser user clicks the link under the My Queue Summary column, IPP advances the user to the My Queues page to work on the tasks that are assigned from the queue or to click the Get Task button and request another task from the queue.
